Project/Activities: We learned what the word transportation means. We learned about different modes of transportation and used magnifying classes to point them out on a big picture. We read a silly book about a pigeon and the transportation he rides on. They colored a picture of themselves on a driver's license and used the license to drive a pretend car, come aboard a train, and fly on a airplane. We made an airplane snack. They played with car, airplane, boat, and train toys. They painted a bus and danced to the 'Hop on the Bus' song. They practiced writing "O" and then used pudding to paint "O" on their paper.
