Projects/Activities: We learned about things that roll. Each kid picked something out of a bag and decided if it rolled or not. Then we made two piles- things that roll and things that don't.

Week Ten: Thursday
Week Ten: Thursday
Projects/Activities: We learned about things that roll. Each kid picked something out of a bag and decided if it rolled or not. Then we made two piles- things that roll and things that don't.
We read a book about a pigeon and the different ways he travels around. We made a human train.
We made a subway.
We played a game with a dice that let us pretend we were racecars, trains, airplanes, etc. We also went on lots of trips. Each kid got lots of different tickets and had to put the ticket in the right bag and then pick a place on the map to go to. They loved this and thought it was so fun to pretend to go on a trip!

We talked about how food for us is like gas for cars- it gives us energy and makes us go. We ate healthy food for snack and then the kids had to describe what the food tasted like.
